Terms and conditions – UCplus Center for Danish Language Education

Scope of application – These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of courses, examinations and payment of deposit via UCplus Language Center Copenhagen’s web shop at ucplusdansk.dk.

Enrolment and payment for Danish lessons takes place separately, since the requirement for payment for UCplus Center for Danish Language Education’s services is only triggered on the basis of the outcome of an application from the prospective purchaser’s municipality of residence.

Payment – The payment card used to complete the purchase is debited when the payment is processed, since the purchaser consents to delivery of the service commences from the time of payment. Payment can be made in the following ways: Online payment via Quickpay using Visa, Dankort, MasterCard, JCB and MobilePay.

Card details – When you submit payment to UCplus Center for Danish Language Education your card details are processed by Nets, which is a secure electronic payment solution for Visa and MasterCard/Eurocard. All card details are handled in accordance with the regulations of the card association in question.

Delivery – Once payment is completed the purchaser receives a date-stamped receipt which also constitutes the delivery date and the date of the commencement of the service. UCplus Center for Danish Language Education is responsible for redistribution of payments to relevant authorities when this is required pursuant to applicable laws, including the Law on Danish Language Courses for Foreigners. Except on the basis of the right to cancellation described below, you are not entitled to be reimbursed or in any other way cancel purchases from our web shop.

Notification of defects – You must notify us of any defects or shortcomings to the services purchased via UCplus Center for Danish Language Education’s web shop within a reasonable space of time following discovery of the defect. It is mandatory to specify and, upon request, indicate what the
defect or shortcoming consists in. As a general rule it is only possible to submit a complaint about defects which are the responsibility of UCplus Center for Danish Language Education. Any objections should be directed to info@ucplus.dk.

Right of cancellation – You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase.

In order to exercise your right of cancellation you must notify us via email to shopdansk@ucplus.dk or by post to the address: UCplus A/S Mileparken 12a, 2740 Skovlunde, Denmark marked “cancellation of purchase” and indicate your wish to cancel the contract using unambiguous wording. In this message you must state your name, address and where applicable your telephone number or email address. The deadline for cancellation is considered to have been observed provided that the message has been sent by no later than 14 days after the date of purchase.
When you exercise your right of cancellation the purchase price will be refunded without undue delay and by no later than 14 days from receipt of the customer’s request. We will process the refund using the same form of payment as was used to complete the original purchase.

If delivery of the service has already commenced prior to the expiry of the right of cancellation period you will, in the event that you exercise your right of cancellation, then pay us an amount proportionate to the amount of services delivered to you up until the point in time you informed us you were exercising your right of cancellation, relative to the services which make up complete fulfilment of the contract.
