Terms and Conditions – UCplus A/S
1. Scope
1.1
These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of courses, exams, and/or the payment of a deposit for Danish Language Education via the UCplus A/S webshop (“the Webshop”).
2. Payment
2.1
Payments in the Webshop can be made online via Quickpay using Visa, Dankort, MasterCard, JCB and MobilePay. The card used at checkout will be charged when the payment is completed, as the purchaser consents to the service being delivered at the time of payment.
3. Card Information
3.1
When you make a payment at UCplus, your card information is processed by Nets, a secure electronic payment solution for Visa and MasterCard/Eurocard. All card information is handled in accordance with the rules of the card organisations.
4. Special Terms Regarding the Deposit for Danish Language Education
4.1
The ministerial Danish Language Education programmes have been free of charge since 1 July 2020, provided that you have been approved for Danish Language Education by your municipality and you have paid the deposit of DKK 2,000, cf. section 4.3.
4.2
The deposit is refunded when the module test is passed. The module test must be passed within the framework of the clip card system.
4.3
You are not required to pay the deposit if:
- you receive public benefits or are covered by an integration contract,
- you are an au pair, or
- you began your Danish Language Education before 1 July 2017, when the deposit requirement was introduced.
5. Special Terms Regarding AMU Courses
5.1
For AMU courses, the course fee must be paid before the course starts. If UCplus has not received the payment on the first day of the course, you will lose your place. If you withdraw later than two days into the course, UCplus does not refund the fee, and you must pay for the entire course. If you are unable to attend, you must contact the administration no later than the first day of the course in order to receive a refund.
5.2
UCplus reserves the right to cancel courses if there are too few participants. If UCplus cancels a course before it begins, the full amount will be refunded.
6. Delivery
6.1
Upon successful payment, the buyer receives a receipt with a date stamp, which counts as the delivery time and the start of the service. UCplus is responsible for forwarding payments to relevant authorities when required, for example in accordance with the Danish Language Education Act for adult foreigners. Except as provided under the right of withdrawal described below, you cannot receive a refund or otherwise cancel purchases made in our webshop.
6.2
Withdrawal before the registration deadline: You will receive a 100% refund of the exam fee.
6.3
Withdrawal after the registration deadline and no later than 2 weeks before the written exam: You will receive a 50% refund of the exam fee.
6.4
Withdrawal later than 2 weeks before the written exam: You will not receive a refund of the exam fee.
7. Complaints
7.1
Any errors or defects in services purchased via UCplus Center for Danish Language Education’s webshop must be reported within a reasonable time after the error is discovered. It is your obligation to specify and, upon request, demonstrate where the error or defect exists. As a general rule, complaints can only be made about errors attributable to UCplus. Any complaint must be sent to info@ucplus.dk.

8. Right of Withdrawal
8.1
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the date of purchase.
8.2
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us either by email at info@ucplus.dk or by letter sent to:
UCplus A/S, Mileparken 12A, 2740 Skovlunde, marked “withdrawal of purchase”, in which you clearly state your decision to withdraw from the agreement. Your notice must include your name, address, and possibly your phone number or email. The withdrawal deadline is met if the notice is sent no later than the 14th day after the purchase date.
8.3
When the right of withdrawal is exercised, the purchase amount will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which we receive your request. Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
8.4
If the delivery of the service begins before the withdrawal period expires, and you subsequently exercise your right of withdrawal, you must pay for the portion of the service delivered up to the time you informed us of your withdrawal, proportional to the full completion of the agreement.
